The illustrations are very helpful and informative and along with the author's deep understanding of symbolism make a real contribution to the study of this difficult and often profound mystery. In order to unravel even the outlying strands of the tangled mystery centred on Rennes-le-Chateau a knowledge of history, religion, languages and geometry is vitally important.
